How does henna work with dark hair and skin tones? Let’s have a realistic talk about this! 

How about comparing the client pictured to a fair skinned blonde girl?

If either client is looking at henna for the skin stain to last like a tattoo, they will BOTH be disappointed. The stain lasts somewhere around a week usually. So when that fades what’s left? How do the two clients compare?

The truth is the blonde client will experience the tint to the blonde hairs a lot longer. Probably around 6weeks. The dark haired client may feel underwhelmed when the skin stain fades, because the truth is, she already has dark hair. So why the heck would she take the time and pay the money to receive a service that washes away?! 

When henna is applied, both will leave with not only a skin stain, a tint to the brow hairs, AND all the benefits of henna soaked into their skin and wrapped around each brow hair. With the way henna coats each hair, both clients will experience healthier brows. 

I don’t want my clients to walk away uneducated about the service they are paying to receive. My dark haired clients get this talk before we even start. If they continue these Henna Brow Tinting TREATMENTS, they could definitely see regrowth within their brows. But they have to believe in what I’m doing. And they have to come back. Like soon-ish. 

Do your clients trust you? They should. Do you take the time to educate them and make sure they have realistic expectations? You should.
